Welcome!

Hi, I’m Sasha. Of the many hats I wear, one of the heaviest is being both a Black and Haitian American medical provider living in the US. Hopefully, in that first sentence alone you have a sense of the gravity of that reality. Whether you captured or not, here you will get a glimpse of my world from the very beginning of my training up until now.

Also, while my story is unique, it is not the only one. As you read into my journey and learn more about my life, especially as it pertains to medicine, I hope it will inspire you to learn about others. Beyond that, I hope it inspires you to advocate for minorities in medicine to provide holistic and equitable care for all.
