10 Minutes

Sometimes it can be very difficult to find time for yourself. For me, there are days when I am up at 7am and moving until my head hits the bed around 10pm. Running from one task to the next may seem productive, but in the long run it can have an impact on your health and well-being- particularly your mental wellness.
Realistically, it may not be practical to take a yearlong Sabbatical, a week-long vacation, a solo weekend getaway, or even two hours at the spa. So perhaps a start to caring for your mental health is starting with 10 minutes.
See what happens when you set aside 10 minutes simply to just be present. During that time, while you disconnect from the stress and work of the day, you can listen to music, watch an uplifting video, engage in a calming artistic endeavor, meditate, sit in silence, taking deep breaths on the porch, journal, read, or complete any activity that allows you to slow down, breath, and take a moment to pause.
You may be surprised by some of the benefits that come along the way.
I have done this for the passed 5 years. it Makes a world of difference
